What's Hacktoberfest?

Hacktoberfest — brought to you by DigitalOcean in partnership with GitHub and Twilio — is a month-long celebration of open source software. Maintainers are invited to guide would-be contributors towards issues that will help move the project forward, and contributors get the opportunity to give back to both projects they like, and ones they've just discovered. No contribution is too small—bug fixes and documentation updates are valid ways of participating.

Hacktoberfest mainly focuses on intrested open source contributors who are fascinated about solving issues and problems on real time working projects. This fest gives a good exposure to the students as well as developers on Hackathons and Open Source competitions like GSoC, AWS Hackathons, SIH and get to know many opportunities in Computer Science Industry.

No, this event is free and open for everyone. Anyone can register for the event.

Can we register on the day of the event?

We have limited seats. so please register as early as possible.

What are the things do I need to bring?
